IHG Hotels & Resorts teams up with Ananya Group to launch a stunning Holiday Inn in Puri by 2028, blending modern comfort with cultural and coastal charm.
IHG® Hotels & Resorts, a global leader in the hospitality industry, has entered into a management agreement with Ananya Group (Prabhukrupa Estates & Properties) to launch a new Holiday Inn hotel in Puri. Slated to debut in late 2028, this collaboration highlights IHG’s strategic focus on strengthening its footprint in India’s thriving markets.
With a legacy spanning more than 1,200 operational hotels worldwide, the Holiday Inn brand continues to innovate, prioritizing guest-centric solutions. Known as one of the most trusted and admired hotel brands globally, it offers contemporary experiences designed for today’s travelers. The upcoming property will incorporate the brand’s revolutionary Open Lobby concept, transforming the traditional lobby into a dynamic space for working, dining, and unwinding.
Nestled on the Bay of Bengal’s coastline, Puri is celebrated for its historic Jagannath Temple, a major Hindu pilgrimage site that attracts over two million visitors annually. Beyond its religious significance, Puri is a sought-after beach destination, offering an enchanting mix of spiritual and recreational activities. The city also boasts nearby attractions like the serene Chilika Lake and the iconic Sun Temple at Konark, adding to its cultural allure.
The new Holiday Inn Puri will feature 100 well-appointed rooms, breathtaking sea views, and three adaptable meeting venues, including a grand ballroom tailored for events and MICE gatherings. With convenient access via road and air, the hotel aims to cater to both leisure and spiritual travelers, providing a gateway to this culturally vibrant destination.
